Thursday 15 June 2006 - Charge!
So out of boredom this morning, I decided that I would achieve what everyone wants the first time they step out of Aht Urhgan Whitegate attempting to flag PUP... a Caedarva Mire map! I saw someone shouting in Whitegate yesterday for people who needed help, but I was too busy, so I decided to do the same today.
It was easy, I was 6/6 in about 5 mins. I read up on the quest and finished all the cutscenes so I led everyone through them. (they were long, but it was a sweet story.)
Once we made it to the NM, the chigoe went down like... well... a potato.
Afterwards I did more of nothing. Then I saw someone shouting for Assault members. I've never done an assault before, so I figured I needed to start sometime. After having to walk half of the party to Mamool Ja Staging Point (1.5hr~) we tried, twice, and failed twice.
At least we had some fun.

Ah well. Talked to Cadash a bunch today~ apparently some Sky linkshell was desperate for paladins so they took him and ran him through all the ZM he needed! >_>! He promised to take me soon. I want sky! /a Sky LS!! :D
I have to go grocery shopping for my man, maybe eat something, but I'm sure I'll have more adventures tonight!!

Thursday 15 June 2006 - Moogle hat?!
I'm really far behind, I'm gonna have to work hard to catch up to 30 entries! XD
My patience has been tried today, I'm in the middle of an assault right now that we are going to fail... for the second time. orz. People just don't understand certain game dynamics, eh? XD As soon as we're done I'll do a full update, I'm just bored and needed a vent moment.
Still waiting on a besieged for today, too. ; ;

Wednesday 14 June 2006 - Roomate's girlfriends...
Are leaching my bandwith. >_<
"Oh look, let's watch the GI Joe cartoons that are mediocrely funny (when drunk) 100 more times and leach Jade's bandwith so she can't play ffxi!" Two besieged...s back to back, too... I made it for the trolls (I was there the whole time and made a measely 167exp!) And now the undead swarm are coming... I'm salivating at the desire to play.............
The lag is just so bad....
So I suppose I'll update about my day. I decided out of boredom that I would take my coffer keys used to obtain maps out of my mogsafe and go coffer hunting! It only took me 1.5 trips through Quicksand Caves (I'd coffer hunted there before... Teleport Altep scroll item maybe?) and I got that. Then I went to Kuftal... and gave up. Too many people exping/skilling/lvling npcs there, no way I'd get the claim, plus I still aggro crabs there so it was a pain.
Cadash was busy, doing fenrir fight or something? Didn't get to spend time with him today.
However, two LS pals (Vice and Rad) and I decided to go to attempt some BCNM runs. It was fun getting there...

Vice threw his orb in first since it was his idea...
and we died. Ran all the way back... I threw my orb in, deciding that we would all two hour and I'd split the loot with Vice (Rad didn't bring an orb). And died again! God damn, that Waughroom Kid is a bastard! I think we can get it next time... orz...
All of my imperial standing coins FINALLY sold (after some major undercutting), so I decided I would go get some IS and also my first merit!
Unfortch I think the blu and I were the only two who brought any echo drops at all... and the pld kept spamming "{Silenced}" immediately after the imp cast Deafening Tantara so I had to give him a little hint...
Apparently he didn't get it. At least he stopped spamming {Silenced} everytime! (Actually, the worst part was that HE was pulling, with Flash, so he would run off right after the battle and I'd have to chase him down to Silena him)
And the red mage... (in the same linkshell. lvl 75. And didn't realize you couldn't dia-pull a mob then sleep it)

Wednesday 14 June 2006 - Guen's eligible bachelors, part deux.
Welcome to the story of Guenivere and Hawkeyeryn.
If you like drama, romance, cruelty, heartache, love triangles, whatever else, you should probably like this story.
It
started out when Hawke invited me to a party at KRT. I was mid50s,
maybe low 50s. He was drg. Ajax was blm. He flirted, la la. We kept
talking after the pt for a little while. He brought me a flower.
Almost
every day for the next 2 weeks he brought me a different flower.
(nothing exotic, only stuff you could buy in jeuno, lol.) He also made
me a corsage... signed. I liked that, very much. (what girl doesnt?!!)
He also had 5 lvl 75 jobs, and was in a HNMLS. Very powerful, very
helpful.
In fact, in the first few weeks that we met, he helped
me with a lot. He fought my WHM AF NM. He got me my WHM Garliage Coffer
and Key and my BLM coffer and key. Maybe a dark spark. I don't know. He
helped because he could, and it was all for the sake of "courtship". He
promised me a lot. He promised me any spells I needed, he would take
care of. He promised me a blessed set. (which I am working my ass off
to obtain, as of now!) He promised me more help with my BLM AF (the
Garlaige coffer was an accident>_>). Whatever, I wasn't spending
time with him to take advantage of him anyway. I enjoyed his company.
So I ignored it.
Weeks went by. We spent time talking on the
phone. He was friendly, always. Until other people were around. Then he
had to exert his, "I'm a 17 year old boy but I rule this video game at
leetness" dominance. He would talk down to me, demand I would come
party with him at a moment's notice, or tele him on short notice, just
in general, fall to his command. If I rebuked, he would get pissed, and
not talk to me for a few days.
Instances that induced the "silent treatment":
*When I mentioned my RL boyfriend
*When his friend Ajax and I kept getting d/ced and I made a "Chinese hacker" comment (he is Chinese) (rotflmao btw)
*When
asked him if he wanted to static because Karayas and I were pting that
night, and he said Ajax couldn't be on but would I rather lvl blm, and
I said "I'm sorry, I already am pting with Kara." He said "Ugh" and
that's all I heard from him for a while.
*When I said I hated pting
in Kuftal tunnel getting 4.5kexp/hr (at lvl 72 mind you) because the
only reason he wanted to pt there was because he was lvling clothcraft
and the mobs dropped lightning crystals.
This went on for a
long, long time. Too long. I think he got fed up with me being
contradictory all the time. He just got mean. After many days of me
sending him tells (about nothing. Asking how his CC was doing, what he
was up to, etc) He finally sent me a tell. This is basically how the
conversation went:
Hawke: So, you too good for me now?
Me: Huh?! What?! When did I say that? You're the one who's been ignoring my tells...
Hawke: Huh, that's funny, I haven't been getting any tells. Plus I'm never online anyway.
Me: Oh, someone else must have been on your account. Or you must have just zoned everytime. Or, I must have been dreaming.
Hawke: So why the rush to get to 75? Kinda disappointing... (spoken from I have 6 lvl 75 jobs, this is my first)
Me: Real easy, Me + Kara + 4 melee = 10k/hr.
Hawke: Well, I hope you're happy.

bickering etc etc. A couple days later he sent me a tell saying
"Nice..." (during besieged, I missed it.) Here is the convo, I saved
all of this one.
Then he logged.
After
this I was done. He hurt me bad, almost made me cry. I sent him a
message with everything on my mind (all of this entry, basically. took
like 3 in game messages actually lol.) Meh. I feel better. I think...

Tuesday 13 June 2006 - Guenivere's eligible bachelors
I've been planning on doing a series of some of my favorite in-game male friends. I have a few admirers/admirees that I'd love to showcase, just for fun.
This morning so far I have been spending time with Cadash. He helped me get my Whine Cellar Key from Castle Zvahl Baileys for my blm af2. I adopted him into our LS when I met him as ~67pld. (I was ~67whm at the time.) He's always been so sweet and while not very talkative in LS, he's very friendly.
I'm not joking. Who could resist THAT?! /drool.
So, I decided to work some of my irresistable charm today...
I mean c'mon, he started it!
Am I the charmer or what? :P
Anyway, after getting my key we ran around the maze of Castle Zvahl looking for the keep. I still don't have my map (GIMP) but I used ffxi-atlas.com and somehow found it.

Sunday 11 June 2006 - Chain 46!
Today was crazy, fast-paced leveling grind. (I didn't even do my gp!) I got into a party (unexpectedly) with Karayas and we went to Mamook and exped off of SPIDERS (read: AoE Slow spammers). They didn't hit hard so I didn't heal crap, and was basically an erase/haste whore. We did this for an hour and a half and, with my empress, got 4.5k. :/
So when the pt disbanded, Kara and I decided to put together our own (tpburnisourfaaavorite!) pt. Unfortunately, our pt disbanded because the pld wanted to go do besieged, so there was next to nobody seeking pt~ everyone wanted to do besieged. We got to 4/6 and the four of us decided to go participate and try to fill up the other two places after. It was pretty funXD Got max exp/is (always feels good.) And didn't die too much. >_>;;
Kara was sickeningly close to 75 so after a mere 5kish exp she dinged. I was so proud!! Such a lovely girl, makes me so happy. After a couple of replacements in this pt (and a lack of competition) we became like a well oiled machine.
Yeah I know it's nothing compared to the chain 100+'s people get sometimes, but it was my personal best and I am excited. XD
After getting about 33k exp for the day, Kara and I disbanded our beloved pt to do Help Day for our linkshell. We did the Kuftal Tour quest, A lesson in team work quest, and then we went farming for star spinels for Denil and Karayas.
We all love each other here.

Saturday 10 June 2006 - First time.
Today was full of surprises. While I was doing my cooking GP I had to
change to a warrior to get into the Marble Bridge to buy it (hey,
sometimes I'm lazy!) and didn't have time to change back before I got
on the boat to Windy.
I
was waiting for a "Can u come pl us?" but this person, I suppose,
wasn't that stupid/desperate. I should have went and just acted like a
total newb... lol.
Second highlight of the day: I was pting for
hours with a tp burn @ Mamool Ja Staging Point, doing pretty well, brd
pulling, getting regular chain 10's (good to me!) and Karayas sends me
a message saying she's going to be online soon. So I told my leader I
had to go in 20 mins. Well, Kara gets online, and due to a
misunderstanding starts seeking party and gets and invite. Well, I
thought, that's great, I'll just go home, get fresh Sanction, and seek
for a new party, since my leader had already replaced me. The leader
finally /t's me... "Your replacement's here!" and I look behind me...
and see Kara with her flag up. o.O
rofl.
So I seeked for
an hour and a half, got and invite and then 1 minute later my boyfriend
calls and says he's on his way home. d'oh. Oh well. How fun. :]
