GREAT DAY TODAY!

First, I log in just to chat. I got stuff to do, but I haven't really worried about it. I spent some time with the GF, watched "the aristcrats" (not Cats.. the Doc. about this dirty joke) and just chillax-ed.

First, faust. Every time I tank him without anyone dying I get a sence of pride. So many pallys can't, and I can with almost full AF1. Before me, if you died in a WTFBBQ way, they called that Fausted. today, Faust got "Yoshed".

We almost wiped.... but due to quick thinking and amazing gameplay, we DESTROYED his scaly ass. I didn't  SW+SH tank her, she whooped our ass giving me 2 deaths, but it was worth it. 8 items dropped, including W.hands, which I wear now.

After that we were done with sky 3 of us decided to do a 40 beastman seal run. Mik and postal went nin/rdms and I went RDM/WHM.

70'th post FTW!!! (Starts to boogie)

First, what's been going on with me since my last post.

I got Chilvery (paladin Convert FTW) and got that lowered to 17:30 min.s .We got a new manager at my job equiped with new manager smell ( Busy work FTW) so I haven't been able to post with the same frequency. I got all my slaves (mules) The summerfest gear, so their more than workers, THEY'RE A FORCE! My hunt to find Nim a wife is going nowhere.. Devlin's still in the picture, but bearly. I gots a crush on another Mithra in my HNMLS, but you can't compete with god or history, and with her, both are against me.There's a japanese taru, but we won't go nowhere till I learn more Japanese. (mmmm~~~ chotto). And their's one more prospect that's got me makin moves.

You see, before Devlin, before RDM 60, Before sex and the sandorian, there was Blaze (name changed for lack of permission). I met her in jeuno and we both admired each other's armor. We talked about dating, but both of us are paladins and work VERY hard to get uber, so no lovin time. No to mention we're both in diffferent LS's

This gave me an idea. My HNMLS is experienced, but lacks the man power to do the UBER stuff, their LS has the members, but are REALLY new and most haven't achieved the status we have, not to mention has the attention of the girl I wanna get with.

Solution??? "We do it like this" *que the music*

Nobody in the world is safe when we get our weapons and our armor str8.

I don't how the intergration will go, but I'm excited to see the 2 leaders giving me the OK to try. If all goes well, we can Rivel the imfamous IRON, or even AD, doing it with people that don't see the game as a job.

Our numbers will EASILY double, and we'll have more powerful allies, and MORE of them. And hell, Nim will have the oppertunity to get closer to blaze.

Why do I play this game?

People ask me ALL the time why I play FF11, and I'm pretty sure you all have either heard the question, or have had this question asked to you (even to yourself sometimes).

When this happends, I usually pull up these 2 videos. it explanes it better than I EVER can.

Some people will never know the thrill of hitting 75 after all those long hours of grinding, getting claim of that one monster that you need for a quest, seeing that AWSOME item drop from that IC mob, killing the shadow lord, FINALLY beating promy sandy, realizing that your UBER for the first time, or finally realizing that the characters in the game are real people with real lives, feelings and emotions..... and becoming real friends.

For this I present to them 2 movies that are visial representations of what we, the children of altana, experence everyday when we play. Hopfully they'll get it......

And the whole LS fucked me CLEAN OVER when they got charmed >< (yeah, fuck ya'll easy breezy bitches >< )

Finally.... Tanked the mega boss. Though I used my 2hr, we won with me at full health ^_^

But, after weeks of trying, K.Klub FINALLY flagged ^_^ 

Did the damn thing with 3 BLm's 2 Whm's and 1 RDM. (suck on that cerra!)

After that, my XP was kinda low, so I made a party in Al-zabi. The party was pretty good, but it was the STYLE of the party that made me feel HELLA good. Pld (me) Rdm, whm, sam, drk, and blm...... JUST LIKE THE GOOD OL' DAYS!

I felt like a tank again ^_^ We made about 12K and I haven't felt this good about being a paladin in a LOOOOOONG time.

Upon exiting the ship and passing through customs I pass.................her.

Every slot is filled with the win and love I can only hope and dream of having. Fully upgraded sword AND shield, shadow ring and mantle..... she even had that under ground shyt that takes 60 lvl 75's 6-8 hours of hardcore questing and camping to get. Bahamuts's mask.... WHO THE FAWK HAS THIS SHYT?

It actually mad me think, "now, how can Nimbus get wit dat?" But, I QUICKLY came to the realization that there'd be NO way a broke knight like Nim, even with his new RDM hawtness, could get with the most famous tank in Bismark (next to JwP and Winraf).

This made me think of real life. There was this movie with Jack Nicholson where he has this qurky romance with this feminist writer that I saw a while back, but forgot the name cause it wasn't all that great. Anyway,she was upset because men don't seem to want a successful woman, and made it look like we were scared dogs for it ( Femi-nazis FTW ).

True, I was intimadated when Ari passed me by, hell, she may even go for my Refreshing charm, but it's been my experience that women get this sick joy in bragging about the guys that "have the NERVE" to hit on them. Even my god fearing grandma, one of the greatest women to EVER grace this earth with her presence has done this. I can honestly say that every female that I've had any type of meaningful conversation with has done this.

Well, TBH, we ARE intimadated by a rich or successful woman, however, there's more to it than just losing an attack cause your stunned. Personally, I'd LOVE to have a woman that's 6'8 290 lb's, can bench press me, has the IQ of 160, makes a 6-7 or 8 figure salary, and can out play me in ANY video game. However, that "intimadition" kicks in when I make the realization that this super woman more than likely wants a man that 7'2 330lb's, can bench press HER, has the IQ of 170 and has to many figures to even classify because he OWNS a video game manufactureing company. Therfore, insted of risking that " psh.... how DARE you, what gives you the NERVE to speak to me?" reaction, I just let her pass.

Solution?

I honestly think it should be up to the person that's higher up in the "league" to make the first move. That way, it takes all the pressure and "intimadation" away from they guy/girl too scared to talk to ya.

The new wave hit the ground running, their weapons glamed in the moonlight, the only light that showed through the thick cloud cover. This time their were more than just walking bones.Figures that seemed to be made of raw odsidian charged in as well. They all were in armor that looked older than I could imagine, and looked as if their tailor had no fingers, for the holes from past ammunition were still presant.

They into the palm forest, our new trap line.As they ran in, they triped lines, causing various fruit and other bambardment to rain fury on their heads. This confused them long enough to hault and take a ready position to try to find us.

Bad move.

They were literly standing on a powder keg. I fired a flaming arrow at thier feet. Their look was that of confused felines when a ball lands next to them. As if they were saying "Hey, what's that thing? OH SHIII....."

Flame + Gun power equal MASSIVE fireworks ^_^

The whole wave was reduced to ashes and flying bodies of confusion. The one's that "suvived" were sliced to peices by me and my companion. They neverrrrrrr knew what hit 'em. The undead were cleaned up as easily as they came to shore. We'd thought we'd won, so we ran to the beach to see what else he ship was gonna throw at us.

Nothing was thrown... nothing was even fired.... but 2 figures ran at us....running on top the water.

They were fast, RRRREALLY damn fast. She sailor and I ran back into the forest. We set our last set of traps. If this didn't stop them, nothing will......

Yeah, I'm in the HNMLS KrakkenKlub. Pretty cool lil group, though, just like any family has it's problems.

Up untill reciently I've been 2nd paladin, Basicly meaining that if 1st paladin goes down, i step up and handle busniess.

Well, one day on AIM I get the IM "your the man now Dawg". It was Reo.... the first paladin and I knew what he was talkin bout.

Well, just like a family, you have the "bad" parent. Baba, a galkin Ninja is this person. I've got no problems with the guy. Yes, he's a dick, but anyone would be tring to run a HNMLS. The way I look at it, as long as I keep my mouth shut when we're at events, we'll get along fine.

However, I also understand why Reo can't stand him, and told him in so many words the same thing I said earlier. So, Reo went to a Different LS, and now I'm first pally.

Now, insted of jumping up and saving the day, I'm the first to get my ass handed to me.

The other day during Dynamis sandoria, I cursed Reo out though (not to his face... YET! *points at reo*). Being first pally I had to tank the trigger mob that charmes and has a pet Levitian hanging round. I'd already died a BUNCHA times and was on my last thousand XP when he decided to 2hr. For those that don't know about a lvl 75 dynimis mob's astral flow, imagine 1 attack killing SEVERAL alligences of lvl 70+ players. Think about 18 red bars of players lives, then imagine them ALL turning black in 1 second.

I expeted to die, but I didn't expect the "BRRRRRRUP BUOOON" of a De-level. Man, that hurts BAD. I threw chips at my screen for like 15 min.s and was all like "Im kickin  Reo in his jaw!"

I look back and laugh, especially since I got an R3, keeping my level, but now I gotta level a bit more than I have been.

My RDM is 60, still wearing lvl 15 rings and only rockin 4 Elemental staves.

My BLM just hit lvl 37, and i spent str8 cash on spells.

My Ninja is lvl 30 witth no Emp. Hair pin, and ninja tools are DAMN expensive, not to mention I don't have NI yet.

And IRL, I'm a little behind on bills, and Radio sack ain't sellin the cotton I pick fast enough.

In game- COOK MY ASS OFF!  Basicly I gotta make food that sells fast. I'm not a NM camper, I don't have the patience. I hate sittin at a camp for hours for the slim chance I claim a mob over the 60 gil sellers w8ing for the 24 our pop. If I was, I'd have joy toy by now. Insted, Between leveling Beatrice in OZ (picking up those high ass magic scrolls, ninja stars, and that lil bit of gil they drop) I'll be leveling cooking to 80-82. Taco's sell pretty damn fast (fuck, I buy 'em), and there's a couple other things there that sell as well. Also I MAY camp monster signia, but again, I don't have the patience.

Aparently, we're losing the war on drugs,cause I had some VERY weird experences yesterday.

First, my XP party. I get invited by Shamanking (yes, named after the failed Anime). When I FINALLY start writingNim's backstory again, you'll know that this dude shunned me when I leveled Paladin ("your lvl 56, I'm lvl 57... you too low"). This was last year sometime, and I STILL remembered how he str8 slammed me for such a stupid reason.

Remember kids, mithra harbor grudges.

Anyway. I  figure I'd be a nice kitty-man and accept the invite. How bad could it be right?

We head to the woodlands close to al zabi. We roam from camp to camp looking for a safe spot.... AGG'ING EVERYTHING IN THE ZONE.1 time, sure mistake, 2 times... hey, we're all human..... 8 times.... ok, your a fucktard (see georgethecunning). And no, this wasn't against imps. We agged tigers, trees, chingoes, and even a formor.

Anyway, we party up at the XP spot FINALLY. We pull calubri. I've never had a problem with these burds till today. You see, I never knew they had reflect (bounces spells back to a PT member.) . Now I'm doing my zone out level grind RDM matrix when suddenly i get hit with bio...I look up and the damn bird cast it on me ><

In a nutshell, that was my pattern. I didn't use much MP, which made me feel happy and safe and we were making smooth XP (400 xp a min. avarage, 20K an hour-ish, which got me to lvl 59 ^_^). However, the DRK STILL had something to bitch about

I say....

"Dude, are you High?

Are you or are you NOT buffed? Does the pld's HP drop past yellow? Has he lost agg to me yet? If you can't answer yes to these questions, I'm doing my job.... and BTW, GET UP OUT MY ASS." 

He continued to bitch, but I let it go cause we were getting SWEET xp. Finally I had to go, which caused more bitching.

Anyway, After the party we went to farm sky. Due to a family emergency I was only able to do 2 god fights.

The first fight went  VERY smooth. I only died once tanking, which I expect totally. Now the second fight.......
