Tree Cutting Competition
I've been experimenting with Goobue Gardeners in Sanctuary of Zitah lately. These guys drop tree cuttings and you may know that a stack of tree cuttings is worth a lot! However, there is plenty of competition here. Even so, these guys spawn all the time. I would say the chances of a tree cutting drop is 1 out of 5. They only spawn near the entrances to Boyahda Tree. The first spot is North of the regular entrance to Boyahda Tree near the pond and the second spot is west of the regular entrance of the tree that heads to the backdoor of Boyahda Tree. I suggest bringing Ranger subjob to get familiar with where these guys spawn and the time it takes for them to respawn. I think they spawn 5 minutes after death. And there's about 10-15 of them around to kill. Anyway I've been trying to save gil in case I do get an abjuration piece. If I do, I need to either buy the cursed gear on the ah or have it made. I'll have it made. I was wondering whether I should plant the tree cuttings I collected today or sell them. I never tried gardening with tree cuttings. People say they can get elemental ores  . Isn't sanctuary of Zitah relaxing?  I love it. |

Wooly Mammoths and Genbu
Lol! I'm watching this woolly mammoth thing "Raising the Mammoth" on Animal Planet. So cool! I wish they DO end up cloning a frozen one eventually. Hey they should add an elephant kind of aminal on FFXI. Yeah! So after defeating Zipacna and getting our "Gem of The North" on Wednesday we were able to arrange Genbu for today. We didn't have a red mage available so things were a little fugly for us especially since we're a newbie HNMLS. Not nOObs I may add. It was pretty interesting. No aquarian abjuration anything dropped.  Bummer. I really want my aquarian set. |

Buffalo Wings
 Man, I'm so retarded. I headed to Uleguerand Range tonight. Yeah I hardly have time to play when I get off of work so I mostly do big stuff on Fridays and Saturdays. Tomorrow is sky triggers...meh. Okay so I was like "I feel like attempting to solo a buffalo." Yeah sometimes when I'm bored, I get in really suicidal moods I tell you. I buff up, heal and then approach it. I start off alright because I have blink on and stoneskin and regen 3 right. And I get lucky because his attacks don't seem to land on me. So I'm a happy taru at this moment, feeling all cool and shit and then this guy starts hitting me over and over again, not even giving me a chance to cure myself. When a cure IV finally lands on me, I attempt to run away like the little wuss that I am and guess what! It's night time and a Cwn Annwn pops in front of me, of course starts chasing me along with the buffalo (man for a big guy it sure can keep up). So yea...bummer I die. Good thing I had reraise 2 on...tiger finishes me off..... |

Killing Buggards is fun
 Meh. I haven't been to lufaise meadows lately. Tonight after competing with a level 75 ranger in La Theinne for rams, I decided to split. There's no point in not letting him have his turn at making some gil too. I headed to Dunes because a linkshell friend was asking if I could raise one of his party members, so I gladly agreed, after that I just wandered into the vortex and got warped to Lufaise Meadows. I don't know what I was doing there, heck I've been so sleepy all day- since last night I caught insomnia. Anyway I decided to kill some bugards for fun. I got a couple of bugard skins and bugard tusks. Not worth shit but it's fun. I love the area, it's so beautiful, I wish it was real. These things are endangered species, so I love to slaughter them with my white magic hehe. I think tomorrow I'm going to visit the rams that can kill me. Just for the hell of it, I'm such a ram freak! I love them! Here's a little secret, did you know that two rams spawn in La Theinne every 10 minutes after their death. One at the northern part, and one at the southern part. I don't think this has been done before by anyone else but I've done it with a friend, we claimed one, kept it alive and kited it to the southern part right before the tele-holla. We then waited for the second ram to spawn and we kited both of them for a good 15 minutes. It was hilarious. Confused the hell out of the ram farmers. Haha good times. I've been called "you fucking chinese" before....(by people thinking rams are actual NMS) and I'm not chinese haha. I don't know why gil sellers would be farming rams in the first place. With leathercraft skill you can make upwards of 200k an hour farming rams but not the millions that gil sellers make. |

Sundays are boring
 Well like every other Sunday, this one was sucky. Sundays are never good for playing so I tend to farm. I like to head to either beaucedine glacier, or xarcabard to farm dark elementals. I have a ton of ram skins I need to turn into ram leather so I'd rather farm the dark elementals than buy 'em at the AH. I have always relied on rams to provide me with some good gil =p. I consider myself a pro ram hunter. Anyway I managed to get 9 dark clusters before deciding to call it quits. I've noticed that if you kill a dark elemental with a dark stave, it will drop 2 clusters at a time. Maybe I was just lucky hehe. Anyway I'm sleepy, time for bed, goodnight. |
